They’re Tools That Help the Right People Find You

For a long time, I noticed something interesting happening in the online business space.

Coaches, consultants, and service providers start treating platforms and strategies like the work itself.

LinkedIn becomes the job.
Networking becomes exhausting.
Posting feels like a full-time role.

And suddenly, the thing you actually do, the transformation you offer, the service you provide, starts taking a back seat.

Here’s what I want to gently remind you today:

LinkedIn is not your business.
Networking is not your business.
They are tools.

Powerful tools, yes.
But tools nonetheless.

And when you learn how to use them intentionally, instead of letting them drain you, they can expand your reach, your impact, and your income without taking over your life.

Let’s talk about that.

When Tools Start Feeling Like the Work

It’s easy to fall into this trap, especially if you’re building a service-based business.

You hear things like:

  • “You need to be visible.”
  • “You need to network more.”
  • “You need to be on LinkedIn.”
  • “You need to show up consistently.”

All of that is true.

But somewhere along the way, many business owners start confusing visibility tools with value delivery.

You are not a LinkedIn manager.
You are not a professional networker.
You are not here to collect connections for the sake of it.

You are here to:

  • Support clients
  • Solve real problems
  • Offer meaningful transformations
  • Build relationships rooted in trust

Tools should support that mission, not replace it.

LinkedIn Is a Tool, Not Your Identity

Let’s use LinkedIn as an example.

For coaches and service providers, LinkedIn is a powerful tool because it allows you to:

  • Connect with people you would never meet otherwise
  • Start conversations rooted in shared interests or goals
  • Build professional relationships
  • Create visibility around your work
  • Generate leads
  • Convert aligned clients

But here’s the key shift:

LinkedIn is not something you “do.”
It’s something you use.

When you approach LinkedIn as a tool:

  • You stop overthinking every post
  • You stop chasing algorithms
  • You stop feeling like you need to perform
  • You focus on connection, clarity, and consistency

And that’s when it actually starts working.

More eyes on your work leads to:

  • More conversations
  • More trust
  • More opportunities
  • More clients

Not because you posted perfectly, but because you showed up intentionally.

This Is Exactly What I’m Teaching in This Masterclass

where I’ll be breaking this down in a very practical, grounded way.

Not hype.
Not hustle.
Not “post three times a day and hope for the best.”

Instead, I’ll show you:

  • How to use LinkedIn as a tool for your service business
  • How to connect without feeling salesy
  • How to turn conversations into leads naturally
  • How to position your work clearly so the right people find you
  • How to stop feeling overwhelmed by the platform

If you’ve been on LinkedIn but felt unsure about how to actually use it to support your business, this masterclass will give you clarity and direction.

Networking Is Also a Tool (And It Doesn’t Have to Be Awkward)

Now let’s talk about another tool that often gets a bad reputation.

Networking.

If the words “elevator pitch” make you want to disappear, you’re not alone.

Traditional networking often feels:

  • Forced
  • Transactional
  • Performative
  • Draining

Which is why so many people avoid it altogether.

But networking, when done differently, can be one of the most powerful tools for growth.

Real networking is not about pitching.
It’s about connection.

A Different Way to Network: Speedy Connections®️

This is exactly why my friend Bren and I are bringing something new to the table.

We’re hosting a networking experience based on her creative and human-centered approach called Speedy Connections®️

This is not about:

  • Perfect pitches
  • Selling yourself
  • Competing for attention

Instead, it’s about:

  • Meeting people as humans
  • Learning what others are working on
  • Sharing experiences
  • Expanding perspectives
  • Building genuine connections

These spaces allow you to:

  • Discover new opportunities
  • Learn from others’ journeys
  • Be seen and heard
  • Feel inspired instead of drained

And once again, notice the theme:

Networking is not your work.
It’s a tool that expands your world.

Why These Tools Matter More Than Ever

When you use tools like LinkedIn and intentional networking the right way, something powerful happens.

You stop feeling like you’re shouting into the void.
You stop doing everything alone.
You stop relying on luck.

Instead, you create:

  • Visibility with purpose
  • Relationships with depth
  • Opportunities through alignment

More connections mean more eyes on your work.
More eyes mean more conversations.
More conversations mean more chances to serve.

And yes, more chances to sign clients.

This space is for you.

Your business is the value you bring, the service you offer, and the impact you create.
