Whether you need a part-time nanny for few hours per day or a full time nanny, we can offer highly qualified, experienced, and nurturing child care providers with whom you will feel comfortable leaving your children.  Our focus is on finding people with excellent child-care experience who are emotionally healthy people.

All our prospective nannies are subject to an intensive screening process prior to beginning employment in your home.  A+ Nannies runs extensive criminal checks and speaks with personal and child care references for each candidate.  All live-out nannies, and live-in nannies are interviewed via zoom and must fill out a lengthy application, which includes questions about their experience and family background.

At A+ Nannies, we stand behind the quality of our nannies 100%!  If your family is not delighted with your nanny, simply call us within the guarantee period, A+ Nannies will send new nanny candidates to interview until a replacement is found, at no additional charge.

All of our permanent nannies have full background checks, C.P.R. certified (within 30 days of employment) and references done. They are all non-smokers, legal to work in the U.S. and have a minimum 2 years childcare experience. We never count watching relative’s children “experience”, and they must have “professional” experience (not just babysitting).

A+ Nannies attracts a wide array of nannies.  We have everyone from seasoned nannies; to part time students, grand-motherly nannies, bilingual nannies, night nannies, newborn specialists, ex-teachers and many more.

You can expect to pay $15-25/hr for your nanny; depending on her experience, amount of chores, the number of children you have and the state of your residency.  We will help you determine this before we send candidate profiles to you.

We look for nannies that are willing to commit to a minimum of one year.  Since the nannies are giving a commitment, we do require our clients to commit to a minimum number of hours per week.

• Register online and provide your family information
• Our office will confirm receipt of your agreement and make sure we are on the same page for your “wants and needs”.  We will communicate effectively to make sure we understand what your job is offering potential nanny candidates.
• We will call every candidate in our database that we feel will be a possible match.  We will pre-screen each candidate for the job, as you have described to us in your registration.
• The candidates that have “confirmed” interest in your position will be included in email format, sent directly to you.  You will receive the applicant’s full profile; including: location, salary, education, family history, medical history, previous child care experience, as well as previous job experience information.  We also include the nanny’s written interview and a child care knowledge test for review.
• You will have the phone numbers to call each candidate directly to set up interviews.  We highly suggest you give EACH candidate a short (5-10 minute) phone interview to get a better feel for the candidate.  Judging someone on paper can be very difficult.  Our office is more than happy to set up your interviews for you as well.
• You may interview as many candidates as you choose.  Our average client looks at 5-7 profiles, and interviews 2-3 candidates.  That is an average.  We believe in quality versus quantity.  It is our job to make sure the candidate is a good match (on paper), before we send them to you. 
• You will choose the nanny that best suits your family.  Only you know your family’s personality and who would make the best fit for your child(ren), so you will be the deciding factor on who to “hire”.
• After the formal offer is made, we will confirm with the nanny that they have accepted the offer. At this time the placement fee of $900 is due.
• We will email you a sample family-nanny agreement, along with information on taxes.
• Background Checks will be emailed out.  Our follow up process will start 2 weeks after her start date.

A+ Nannies does not end their relationship with the client here.  This is merely the beginning.  We will follow up with you and the nanny 5 times within the first year.  We are always here for support, guidance, knowledge, and mediation anytime! Please understand it is our goal at A+ Nannies to exceed our client’s expectations by placing our morals and ethics at the core of very decision.  We are dedicated to providing professional candidates that have the knowledge and passion for the domestic household industry. 

We prescreen every candidate based on your requirements before we send you profiles. We send on average of 5 profiles, and our clients typically interview 2-3 people before making a hire.

Service fees for permanent nannies:
Registration Fee - $250.00 (required to begin a search)
Placement Fee (live-out) - $1800
For Bilingual and/or Special Skills Nanny -$2000
Placement Fee (live-in) - $2200
For Bilingual and/or Special Skills Nanny -$2400

Guarantee – If your nanny is not working out, we will replace her free of charge unconditionally from 6 months of her hire date. If something happens from 6 months till her one year mark, we will prorate your next placement fee.
